This bill would prohibit regulators from attempting to regulate peer-to-peer car-sharing or rental companies in a similar fashion to a traditional car rental company.

Libertas supports this bill. These models are radically different than a traditional car rental company, and to regulate them similarly would serve only to protect incumbent firms from competition.
