SB 36: Dismantling Occupational Licensing Barriers for Ex-Offenders
This bill cleans up and removes lingering language about “good moral character” or “moral turpitude.” This bill aims to reduce the recidivism rate, increase economic opportunity for ex-offenders, and strengthen the labor market.
