John Pestana was the co-founder of Omniture, a software company that grew to more than 1,200 employees. Omniture went from a student-run business to a worldwide, publicly traded company, and was sold to software giant Adobe. A distinguished entrepreneur, John has been honored with awards such as the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Entrepreneur of the Decade by the BYU Marriott School Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. John currently owns and operates several companies and manages an active real-estate portfolio of housing complexes in Utah and Idaho. John has three children and lives in Provo.
Jeffrey Harmon is co-founder of Harmon Brothers, one of the world’s fastest growing creative ad agencies. They have helped transform small and medium-sized businesses into hundred million to billion-dollar brands through effective advertising and storytelling. From Squatty Potty, Purple, Chatbooks, and Poopourri, to dozens of other video projects, Jeffrey’s videos have over one billion views on social media. He is also co-founder of VidAngel, a filtering service that allows families to skip or mute objectionable content in TV shows and movies. Jeffrey and his wife, Anniele, are parents to four girls and live in Lehi.
Andrea Golding, Trustee
Andrea has been an advocate of and leader in the home-schooling community for two decades. Her love for the works of William Shakespeare combined with her passion for the performing arts provided home-school students the opportunity to gain stage experience by memorizing and performing his plays. Andrea currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Utah Shakespeare Festival.Andrea is an active mentor. She is a Yoga Instructor, REDI for Wholeness Practitioner, ZUMBA Instructor and loves helping others overcome limiting beliefs as a Firewalk Instructor. She is also involved in real estate and development. Her foundation supports a variety of arts along with education and principles of freedom. Her favorite past times include reading, traveling, scuba diving, quilting, vintage dancing, and her most recent venture is raising cattle.
Andrea is a wife and mother of three. She lives in Salt Lake City, but also calls Avon, Utah home.
Patrick Donohoe, Trustee
Patrick H. Donohoe is an Entrepreneur in the Financial Services Industry.in 2007 he founded Paradigm Life, an Independent General Insurance Agency and PL Wealth Advisors, LLC – a Registered Investment Advisory with a virtual distribution across all 50 states, all provinces in Canada, and many English speaking countries.
Since 2007, Patrick has hosted The Wealth Standard Podcast, a weekly show dedicated to personal development, finance, and investing. Patrick is the author of Heads I Win Tails You Lose: A Financial Strategy to Reignite the American Dream. He resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and three children.
Connor Boyack, President
Connor Boyack founded Libertas Institute in 2011 and serves as its president.Named one of Utah’s most politically influential people by The Salt Lake Tribune, Connor’s leadership has led to dozens of significant legislative victories spanning a wide range of areas such as privacy, government transparency, property rights, drug policy, education, personal freedom, and more.
A public speaker and author of 30 books, Connor is best known for The Tuttle Twins books, a children’s series introducing young readers to economic, political, and civic principles.
Connor lives near Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife and two homeschooled children.
