Michael is the Executive Vice President, overseeing Libertas’ policy operations, including policy analysis, government affairs, and organizational strategy.

Prior to joining Libertas he was a legislative aide for a Utah state senator and the state government affairs manager for Waterford Institute, a digital education non-profit. Michael has also managed and worked on dozens of campaigns around the country, which included directing the Trafalgar Group’s nationally recognized polling operations in 2016.

When we think of "autonomous vehicles," we naturally think of cars. But the future is fast approaching, and it's more than just cars that are self-driving nowadays.
We need to start thinking of our vehicles as giant smartphones that hold tremendous amounts of data about us. Then we can start to take the necessary legal and common sense precautions to protect our own privacy, as well as the privacy of others in civil society.
Utah recognizes the potential of psilocybin and MDMA by passing this legislation. This comes after the hard work of a psychotherapy and mental illness taskforce which ultimately concluded the psilocybin is both safe and effective.
By applying creative principles both in and outside the home, we can provide starter homes for everybody who wants one — and at a price much lower than what we are seeing today.
"Skyrocketing rent! High-interest rates! Limited Supply! Increased Homelessness!" These are some of the headlines and issues that we have been dealing with during this housing crisis. But why?
If the people choose to usher a tyrannical government into existence, it will happen. But if they choose to embrace the principles of private property, free enterprise, and the rule of law, then a small government can thrive.
