Libertas Institute Announces New Development Team
Zach Jacob, Director of Development
Zach’s first foray into public service was running for student body secretary in sixth grade. Since then, he has served on his kids’ school community council, his city’s planning commission, and has served on the West Jordan City Council since 2016. Zach has also been a state and county delegate, and has volunteered on several local and national political campaigns.
Professionally, Zach has worked in marketing and sales for over 15 years, for both large and small companies ranging from Sinclair Oil to a local SaaS company to a 15-person language services firm. In each of these roles he has had responsibility for creating and executing effective internal and external communication campaigns, as well as building and maintaining relationships with customers, clients, and vendors. He studied business and marketing at the University of Phoenix.
Zach spent his childhood in southern California, has lived in Utah for over 25 years, and currently resides in West Jordan. In addition to politics, his hobbies include running, cycling, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, three children, and two dogs.

Hannah Monson, Development Associate
Hannah is passionate about furthering the cause of liberty and being involved in the political changes that are taking place around her. Having lived all over the country and traveled the world as a volunteer, her education thus far has been largely comprised of personal experience.
This travel experience—while instilling in her a deep appreciation for various countries and cultures—opened her eyes the incredible gift that it is to be a citizen of the United States of America: a country whose political system, although imperfect, allows many basic and fundamental freedoms that are denied to a large percent of the worldwide population. Her core belief regarding America is that we are a blessed people—and where much is given, much is expected.
Aside from her passions for liberty and travel, Hannah is also an avid adventurer and lover of the outdoors. This led her to work as a behavioral health paraprofessional for the Anasazi Foundation, a non-profit in Arizona, during which time she led primitive wilderness expeditions for troubled youth. Few things give her more joy than being out in nature and serving others, except perhaps a really good book.
A native to Northern California, Hannah currently resides in Orem, Utah.
