driver license

A new law stands to benefit over 8,000 Utahns each year, whose driver licenses will no longer be suspended for violating a drug law that has nothing to do with operating a vehicle.
This bill allows an individual to appeal the suspension of their license for a first-time DUI, in limited cases.
Obtaining a driver license will be a simpler process for numerous individuals if HB 184 is passed.
This law would put an end to the practice where those guilty of a drug offense have their driver license suspended, even if they weren't driving at the time of the offense.
