As Utah and other states begin to re-open and recover from the COVID-19 crisis, we have an opportunity to reflect on some of the potentially positive outcomes of the massive disruption on education. This is a field that has historically been slow to adapt to innovative improvements. Many have begun to rethink what education will look like once the crisis resolves.

This bill would allow for the creation of an insurance sandbox in the state of Utah.
What are regulatory sandboxes? They are unique legal classifications that create space for regulators to temporarily freeze regulations and criminal penalties for a defined time period. This allows private companies to develop or introduce an innovative product or service where current standards poorly apply or haven’t yet been created.
