This bill codifies some of the reform recommendations resulting from a recently conducted audit of TIF by the Utah Office of the Legislative Auditor General.
This bill recognizes that the protections of the Fourth Amendment apply not only when police officers investigate a crime, but anytime a government agent searches or seizes property.
