Yet again, the public is being asked to trade privacy for safety. This time, truckers are in the midst of the controversy, sparked by a proposed rule creating a digital tracking system for commercial truckers that may further stress the nation’s already weak supply chains. 
Paid advice that millions of Americans rely on and that serves no threat to public well-being must be free of government intervention. Individuals should not be subjected to government silencing or lose their livelihoods simply because they are not licensed professionals.
Victims deserve finality. A lot of that is out of our control: convicted murderers on death row have every incentive to fight their conviction indefinitely. But by doing the right thing up front, police and prosecutors can ensure convictions are the product of a just process and that they stick, even through all the appeals.
A humble plant may be able to do what expensive treatment programs can’t: End addiction. 
The boundaries between physical and digital spheres are collapsing. The digital sharing of personal information is now embedded into the economic and relational activities of daily life. Following the COVID pandemic, the popularity of work from home and other hybrid work relationships continued to erode traditional boundaries.
