Meet Our New Director of Development: Catherine Hess

Catherine Hess joins Libertas Institute having most recently worked with the Utah Patients Coalition doing community outreach and event management, helping raise funds for passage of the Utah Medical Cannabis Act, or Proposition 2.

A relationship builder at heart, she has been working with businesses, organizations, and patient groups to generate financial and material support.

Having been involved in community leadership roles her entire life, Catherine more recently has served on multiple executive teams for community organizations, support groups, and event management. She has a knack for networking, creating meaningful experiences and events, and connecting people together. Additionally, she recently served as strategic consultant for two startup businesses needing operational and leadership support.

Catherine is an outdoor enthusiast, musician, and mother to three beautiful children. Her passion is to empower those around her to create a life they love. She has a degree in Human Development and Psychology and strives for personal connection, effective communication, compassion for all people, and a high level of integrity. She is committed to making a positive difference in this world and is excited to bring these skills and passions to the cause of freedom at Libertas Institute.
