It’s easy to imagine worst-case scenarios with new technologies. For example, the popular Netflix series Black Mirror shows the weaponization of such innovations. But you don’t have to rely on fiction to see what these systems would look like in the real world.
Don’t leave your kids bored or unchallenged or overlooked in an education system that isn’t a good fit for them. Choose an education for your family and your kids that leads them to success.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of viewpoint discrimination and school policies that infringe on students’ rights is for good students to do nothing. Kudos to Jaiden for taking a stand for his rights.
If we don’t want our home prices to be as high as California’s, what we need to do is stop debating a single twin home, but look at the real underlying problem on trial — our strict California-style zoning.
You are your child’s best advocate. Learn what information your school shares. Discuss with the school why it is shared and how it benefits your child. Many of us have been taught that once something is on the internet, we can never get it back. Let’s do what we can to protect our children from that happening to their personal information.
