Florida’s Governor may have called the state the “Utah of the Southeast,” but when it comes to teen social media use, Florida leads the field.
While facial recognition technology offers potential benefits in terms of security and efficiency at airports, it also comes with significant concerns related to privacy, accuracy, bias, and precedent.
It’s easy to imagine worst-case scenarios with new technologies. For example, the popular Netflix series Black Mirror shows the weaponization of such innovations. But you don’t have to rely on fiction to see what these systems would look like in the real world.
Don’t leave your kids bored or unchallenged or overlooked in an education system that isn’t a good fit for them. Choose an education for your family and your kids that leads them to success.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of viewpoint discrimination and school policies that infringe on students’ rights is for good students to do nothing. Kudos to Jaiden for taking a stand for his rights.
If we don’t want our home prices to be as high as California’s, what we need to do is stop debating a single twin home, but look at the real underlying problem on trial — our strict California-style zoning.
