There is a tendency to think of app-based gig work as an easy alternative to traditional employment. But as many anonymous gig workers have posted on Reddit, stories of misplaced liability, danger, and unsustainability abound. Not to mention the lack of employment-style benefits, which greatly affects quality of life for those making this their full time gig.
